As of September 30, 2008, the Apprenticeship Training & Skill Development division will no longer validate or recognize paper identification cards issued before June 2002.  To replace your paper ID card with a plastic photo ID, download form from www.apprenticeship.ednet.ns.ca or call your local apprenticeship office at the following numbers:

Bridgewater:543,0649, Sydney 563-2149, Halifax 424-5651, Truro 893-5988, Kentville 679-6731, Yarmouth 742-0775  Replacement cost if you return your outdated paper form is $5.65(including HST).  If there is no paper ID card attached to the form, replacement cost is $12.95 (including HST)

On May 30, 2009 the NS Department of Education Apprenticeship Training and Skills Development Division with Platinum sponsorship for the Ironworkers Local 752 hosted an Apprenticeship Awards Ceremony.  It was held at the Digby Pines Resort where several members received their Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyman completion certificates.  The dinner was in recognition of all apprenticeship trades. Awards were presented by Colin Campbell, NS Apprenticeship Board Chair to the following members of Ironworkers Local 752:
